Nice shooting Mike. This time of year sucks. The light on Cheyenne doesn't come around until well after the recovery....

Can you no longer get between the runways at the Cheyenne end? True, the angle's not as good, but you ought to have light. Or was everything landing on 03R?

folks,
I'm planning on being at Nellis on Feb 13 and 14 (Tuesday and Wednesday), arriving late Monday night and leaving on Wednesday night.
Anyone want to split the cost of a room?
Richard.

Nice shooting Mik, aka KofC!
I've been to the east, sunny side of 03R in the past, is this no longer possible?
Here's a useful little Red Flag forecast that'll give warning of any high winds in advance:
Regardless of the weather I'll be out there next Wednesday.

I would like to go down and see the RAAF F-111's. Does anyone know when they might be there. I thought it was this go, 07-2. I will be driving from Fresno and can only stay 2 days.
Any help is appreciated.

thanks dan, that's exactly the advice i needed!
yeah, you can get b/t the L and R. the aggressor and the tornado were on the left, the others were on the right. i was just too stupid to do it.
south of the cheyenne i guess you can get east of the 3R stuff, i'll try today and see what if anything that provides considering the angles.

someone in the tower had mercy and switched to 21 for the landings
incidently, i wouldn't be surprised to see security around next week. there were lookyloos parked off the entry road to area 2 and the base side of LV BLVD this afternoon. i imagine that'll provoke a response.

For the King of Cheyenne, you sure do well at the Speedway end, Mik.
What's the B-2 doing in the background of the last B-1 shot? Right-hand pattern to a left-hand runway?
