Boy, did I pick the wrong day to go. Low clouds lot of the time with the occasional quick downpour. No fleet fly-by or TAC demo( Undecided) for us but at least the skies did open up a little for the Blues.

Friday Blues sneak pass



I missed the shot on saturday. i noticed about 1/2 a second before he passed me I wasnt going to get the shot, so I looked up from my camera to just watch it. i must say, it is awesome to actually sit there and watch the plane fly past so fast. we are usually so focused on shooting it (no pun intended lol) that we never take time to actually watch. that sneak pass is sweet to watch the air just moving around it. im sure it must look awesome from the tower as well, right Liza  Cheesy

Just managed to get back home.
Overall it was a nice show Afro I wished to see more burner pass on Saturday's Beach Blast and fleet flyby on Sunday show...

With the weather being the way it was Sunday morning I'm glad I didn't stick around again after Fri/Sat. Overall I am a little disappointed - especially after last year this one left a little to be desired...The Navy Air Power Demo seemed much restrained, as well as the burner pass at the beach blast. Unfortunate, but I can't complain too much because I still had a great time with some wonderful company (which is all that really matters) and luckily walked away with a few keeper photos. Hope you all don't mind seeing some more...
