Thanks roger....here's some more shots, this time of the statics....the static display was nice, except for the fact that some of the aircraft were parked under the shelters, including the cf-18, f-117, f-4, and f-16c.

I have to say that I was very impressed with the tyndall show, definitely worth the long drive over from jacksonville  Afro it was very nice to meet some of you all out there

the storms that came through early on saturday morning left a nice wet ramp...and the f-22 was awesome of course.
in the a-10 shot u took, sometime that day i was standing right were the shot is,lol Tongue

I originally cropped out the "other" F15 and had a similar photo. In my "photojournalism mode," I show all three.

thanks guys i appreciate the comments. got a few more for ya....the golden knights jump team taxied right by and the wingtip actually passed right over my head which was pretty cool. also the super hornet taxied right by (both of those shots were taken with a 10-22mm lens). and they were trying their best to kick us out but i was able to grab a shot of snort leaving after the show.

BillF: awesome shots...i had my 400 prime on so i didnt have much choice about excluding the f-15 that was on the left wing of the raptor!
Mike: that raptor vapor was amazing - especially on the 'chin'...nice captures

I agree with you Craig.  I was standing right next to jderden and cant touch his shots.  He deserves the praise though.  Real nice guy (and his friends that came with him.)  By the way, are you gonna get Zack and Adam to post some shots?  I am sure they got some great ones too.

I had a couple shots of the Hornet that turned out ok.  I loved that they taxi right past the crowd.  I am operating off my laptop, which I dont like to edit on too much, so I will post some shots sporadically.  I haven't even got to some of the demos we shot yet.  Like jderden, I was up till past 3am just organizing the photos and got a couple online.  This is gonna take some time!

Anybody else get the Raptor with the vapor under the inlet?  I didn't notice it at first.

edit:  John, you posted as I was typing this!  We are posting the same stuff, sorta.  hehe... and that shot of Snort is NICE!

Thanks for posting all of these great pics guys.   Afro  Looks like the lighting is very favorable at Tyndall so I think you have convinced me to make the journey for their next show.

Brandon:
Great stuff you've got there, I like the super hornet crew waving. keep on posting your shots, i think i'm done....maybe Grin ....and for the snort f-86 shot, i'm glad i at least caught something leaving after the show, even if it wasn't the a-10s  Embarrassed    edit: oh and zach just joined up this evening and i'll try and get him to post some of his shots from the show

LAshooter:
I wasn't expecting the light to be so favorable until later in the afternoon around the time the thunderbirds went up, but i was pleasantly surprised! definitely a worthwhile trip.

Here are some randoms.
I caught Gunfighter as she was cranking up.  Of course, they told me to move AFTER he cranked....guess they didn't see me for a bit.

The Flash Fire jet truck.  Actually kind of neat to watch.  It was as fast as advertised.

Pacific Prowler was the B-25 that took part in the Warbird demo.  It included Gunfighter (P-51), a P-40, and a Zero.
