Hi guys,

Yesterday I joined FC. I think this is a great site to share foto's, info, etc.

Please allow me to start a thread here: how about sending your best FLARE SHOT !!!  Shocked
After all those afterburners and vapour shots, I think we should not forget this rare air display sensation. And I'm sure there are a lot of you out there that have had some opportunities during this 2005 display season!!! (Fairford, Gilze, etc.)

Greetzzzz,
Lucien

Just to heat things up a bit, here is a Dutch Apache during the same airshow.

I remember having seen some shots of Waddington air show 2001, when the Israeli Air Force flew it's new F-15I Ra'am, shooting flares!!!!! Can anyone share these shots with us? (I was there Saterday only Cry)

Are you sure those are flares in those last few shots? Looks more like engine trouble, LOL!

Fantastic shots Drool

This topic isn't fair, I live in North America, we don't get flares here Sad

Only the first three were taken at Zukhovsky, from the far right hand end of the crowd line ( with a Russian soldier standing directly in front!). The others were taken at Lipetsk, a couple of days earlier on the same trip. Thanks for the comments Smiley

Instead of flares (which we only got from the KLu this year), you get the Blues, T-Birs, Snowbirds, amazing heritage flights, F-22, Reno Air Races,... I'm forgetting lots of other good flying stuff, but I think you know what a wanna say.  Wink
