Shots from today...

1.) Air Pacific landed and went straight back in the air...we figured out that a Air Canada 319 was crossing the runway when it shouldn't have..oops!
2.) American Airlines 767 surrounded by emergency vehicles...called in some sort of emergency, never did find out though...emergency crews were lined up down the whole runway on 25R
3.) Thought this was cool, Virgin Australia 777's meeting nose to nose...and the old paint as well

I am headed down from Seattle next Saturday the 12th. Does anyone have the scheduled arrivals of the A380's? Also, any info on wind and which runways are generally used for arrivals? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

These are rough times, but gives you a general idea of when they come in....

Qantas 6:15AM (still dark)
Korean 8:15 AM
Qantas 9:15 AM
Singapore between 11 AM-1PM
Air France 1 PM (seen it come in as early as 11 AM too)
Korean 1PM

Qantas early morning flight usually lands on 24R and the mid morning is any ones guess...I have seen in on 24 and 25
Korean historically lands on 25R
Singapore historically 25R
Air France historically 25R

You're best bet, if you have a smartphone is to download flightstats (i think they call it Travelers) and you can see the daily arrivals.  You can also check the web before you go to see when they come in.  The App tends to be a little difficult to navigate and it shows codeshares which you cannot turn off.  The web is easier and you can turn the codeshare off.

There also is an app called planefinder that helps you track the planes and if you really pay attention you can tell what runway they will land on.

I will most likely be there shooting as well so if you want to meet up we can and I can help you out.
