Always a nice show.  I don't see it mentioned on their site, but I think the west coast A-10 Demo Team will be in attendance too.

It's getting close. According to their website they will have A-10 demo, F/A-18 demo, Tailhook Legacy flight with F/A 18, F-6f and F-8F. T-38 flyby, USCG fly by.
I'm going to make the assumption that Henry 1 and the CDF will do demos also.
Civilian acts include Jacky Warda, Rich Perkins with Firecat L-39, and some antique flybys.
I do believe that the Hiller Museum DC-3 will be there also.

Hey Y'all.
Who's coordinating for this show? Bernardo? I'm flying up in the AM tomorrow. Is there a suggested meeting location on Saturday? Sunday? I'll be attending with a long time friend, who is also an accomplished photographer -she of course wants to meet my FC friends. Yes, she knows of our obsession...I 'er mean passion for photography.
Cool Will there be a UM-1 on hand? It's my understanding sunny and in the low 80's both days.

Not sure if there is any 'official' plan.  I'm planing on being there Fri and Sat for sure, and hopefully Monday.
It's a small show, so I'm sure we'll run into each other.  Just look for the Indian....

ps.  FWIW, the A-10 is staging out of Travis.  Sad

Hey everyone. Just got home from another visit to USC. My sister is now moved in. Her very first night in college was spent at a frat party, so she's getting a good start on things.

In any case... Yes, I will be there at Santa Rosa all three days. Look for the bright yellow soccer jersey. (Well, tomorrow I might wear a blue one, for the sake of variety). I will be taking a friend up on Saturday, which means that my schedule is a little inflexible that day, but if you guys want to coordinate something on Sunday, let me know.

I'll be taking a camcorder (on Sunday and probably tomorrow) hoping to put together later a video montage like the one I did at Nellis.

This really is a great airshow. I hope to see our local FenceCheckers there!

A'ight. Off to bed.

Airshow Update...

One of the original Flying Wing prototypes built in the early 1940s by Northrop was flying around Santa Rosa yesterday. It will be at the airshow. I believe this one is based out of Chino.

also...

Henry 1 will not be performing its usual long line rescue demo and flight routine due to emergency transmission surgery. You can view last year's five camera performance here: http://www.henry1.com

The wing was up flying in tandem with a bright shiny B-24 this afternoon - the weather finally cleared around four-ish, the marine layer was in until then. Hopefully it will lift early the next two days. My friend here says it would be the first time in several months if it does. Let us pray...

Spending the weekend with my wife before her (and my) busy season hits, so not going to make it unless it's maybe Sunday.

Any info on the B-24? I know of some polished B-25's in the area, but a B-24 might just get me out there.

If anyone spots a maroon and white Citabria flying in or out on Saturday, don't hesitate to take a shot   Afro

I didn't see any silver B-24's flying around but there was a silver B-25, "Sunday Punch." Also spotted 2 P51's ("Speedball Alice" & "Lady Jo"), 2 P-40's, Thomas Camp's F4F Wildcat, Ellsworth Getchell's Sea Fury, and the aforementioned the flying wing. On my way home we spotted another B-25 heading towards the field.
