The first Sunday of each month the Santa Paula Airport/Aviation Museum has an open house and people open their hangars to walk through and they get some people to fly in.  It's a nice little event each month and I managed to sneak over there for about an hour today.  Nothing special here but I got a few quick shots of some arrivals and departures.  Thanks.

I was there for a few hours myself. For a crosswind that wasn't very strong, there were some wild landings and take-offs.

Nice shots I saw a couple other guys standing out on the line watching airplanes maybe one of them was you.  You're right though not much of a crosswind but a few guys were a little surprised I think...

Probably was me. I had a Nikon with the Sigma 50-500 on it. You probably also saw Doug Robertson and his friend Ron. Nice bunch out there.

Definitely could have been, I wasn't close enough to see the camera gear but from a little ways away I spotted one canon lense so if either of the other guys was shooting a canon it was you guys.  If you're around next month I'll come say hello.   Afro

Ron uses a Canon. I am a Nikon shooter, so it would have been a black lens with me.

Yeah it can be pretty fun.  Sometimes there are some unique airplanes that show up and sometimes there are not but either way its a good way to kill a few hours on a Sunday morning.
