Like it was yesterday (really 1971), I can remember working approach/departure U-2's out of U-Tapao Royal Thai Navy Airfield, Thailand. Never knew their operational altitude over Vietnam, but they would occasionally file IFR to Kadena at FL600.

Very special airplane!
