From June 13th until 21st 1995, 111 sqn from RAF Leuchars operated 5 Tornado F3s out of vlb Volkel, NL. One aircraft was swapped after a couple of days. I got to shoot them launching for an ACMI-mission. I even sat in the backseat of one of them during an engine-test! Those were the days... Several of these F3s have been scrapped lately. I hope I'm not boring you with nine pics in one post.
