Yeah I just found the story and was going to post it.  Thanks.  Hope they order a few to help the LBC (Long Beach-Boeing) with keeping jobs a bit longer.

Hey there Kevin,

In the article it states the bird is going to be used in a manner in which:

Each nation will decide how to use its portion of flight hours to support national, United Nations, European Union and NATO requirements.

I guess since it's not fulfilling NATO only requirements they left that marking off of her.

Regardless, it's neat to see some different colours on a C-17 - grey and black could only go so far!  Smiley

Celebrating with friends for the 4th of July I was pleasantly surprised in the mid to late afternoon by this C-17 flying over near Rialto airport.

Canada's CC-177 (oddly enough being flown by a USAF Lt. Col. on exchange) flying under some not so friendly looking skies.

Another suprise, they pulled the second C-17 for Qutar out of the paint booth, with the coolest paint job paint job on a C-17. Now only if the USAF would do this to some of their C-17's
