Here's Flying Whale getting the demo cert. for the Wings over Wine Country Airshow. I think it would have taken about a quarter of the time had the KC135 not been playing in the pattern and the departing NW 742  Cheesy

Taken on Thursday the 21st, Four C-17s doing Flight Formation System testing here at Pope AFB, NC.  Below is the lead aircraft, from Edwards AFB, CA 03-3121 (there second of two aircraft), 07-7174 from Dover AFB and 07-7173 from Dover AFB, DE

Second set, 06-6161 from Travis AFB, CA...the last plane in line.  6161s nose on the hammerhead, and then one of 3121s nose and 7174 on the end of its landing roll.

Last set for tonight, 6161s tail, 5146 from Hickam (sorry about the fence, thats the best I could do), and the four ship line up (3121, 7174, 7173 and 6161)

The last C-17 to go to Dover...Great shot!

Here is 07-7177 on the 12th, delievered on the 11th to Dover.  7178 is supposed to arrive @ Dover on Oct 8th.
