This warrior needs a thread, and on Saturday at North Island, Skys7, Ray and I were lucky enough to be blessed with two of these monsters!

C-23 Sherpa used at the Armed Forces Bowl for the Paratroopers.

They kept it out at Meacham Airport for the weekend.

Ahhh, Good ole "Pokey"...I believe Mildenhall flew two out of Zwibrucken, back in the 80's...

They used them to haul everything from mail, to TF-30 engines(?) over to Lakenheath, and other British bases, when I was there...

They also "smuggled" German beer back from various pick up points on return to Mildenhall...I witnessed a T/A truck getting loaded with about 20 cases, heading to Base Ops...Things were going to be kicking at the "Bravo Bar" that weekend...

They sure looked prettier in "European One", then that crap gray that's on everybody's A/C now...
