I looked around the forums and I was surprised I didn't see a topic like this already posted.  So find your best pictures of 06.  I'm looking forward to seeing some awesome shots.  Grin

Wow...

I couldn't choose just one...Here are my two favorites from this season, both taken Saturday at Aviation Nation.

Well, I do have a single favorite. This one was on the cover of Ultraflight Magazine - I have covers every few months as the Chief of Photography. This photograph was taken at the Salton Sea (California) during a powered paraglider / powered parachute event. (coming again in February this year).

Good thread idea.

Probably this one from Chino is my favorite, although the limited range of a computer monitor conceals a lot of the shadow detail.

Not nearly as good as all of yours, but it was my first show taking pictures and my only chance this year.

From the Grand Forks AFB Show in July

Everyday of flight ops on a carrier is its own airshow!  Great shots people.

There are a lot of photos I really like from this year, but this is the one I'm most happy about:

I used to be with "it", but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't "it", and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.

Nice shot, Gar, that three-dimensional layering effect really makes this photo stand out!   Afro
