I used to be with "it", but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't "it", and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.

It'll happen to you!

Widgeon touching down on the Delta in Pittsburg, California with a smoke filled sky thanks to a fire buring about 2 miles West.

Hey all,

Shot this beauty on the morning of March 11th, 2009 at Chandler Municipal (KCHD) in Arizona. Yes, an Albatross in Arizona?! Seems kinda out of place, doesn't it?
Anyway, details of this aircraft are:

N29853 Grumman HU-16E Albatross
C/N G-335
Ex-USAF serial 51-7246, transferred to USCG as 7246 upon delivery
Now owned by Flight Management Resources LLC

It's a turbo beaver. Not sure who does the mod, but they pull out the old round motor and throw in a jet A burner, change the fin and beef up the fuselage so it can lift more. About all that is recognisable is the wing! Cool machine though!  Cheers
