Why is it that adding floats to just about any plane increases it's "cool factor" by at least 50%?

Actually I can think of many aircraft, like an F-16, on which floats would just look silly, but I know what you're getting at.  Smiley

A couple from Kenmore Air Harbor in Seattle on a warm summer evening....  Cool

Here is my only float plane shot to date.  One of Kenmore Air's at Boeing Field, Seattle.

I intend to make it over to Victoria this summer sometime.  Sounds like I need to get some
location pointers from the locals.  Smiley

I used to be with "it", but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't "it", and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.

C-GATE, one of two flight test prototypes of the TR-1 Trigull.  The Trigull was an amazing amphibian that should have gone into production.

Date line: July 14, 2007 new "Wing in Ground" aircraft posses problems for aviation photographers. Fence line is not defined and no one knows where to stand.

Hi M.F.C.,

Nice catch, sharp and in the middle of the frame. Too bad the cockpit can't be seen from this angle.

BTW, I don't know if you noticed, but you need to have your sensor cleaned for dust. For now, you may contemplate using the clone-tool in an editing program to remove the spots.
