Vancouver Island Aviation PhotographyI used to be with "it", but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't "it", and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.

Auto pilot... or more likely RC. A local club in San Diego takes over a small lake for their annual Float n Fly. Great opportunity to practice. The small planes are as easy to shoot as a mosquito. The electric speed run RCs are impossible to see let alone photography. Last years speed run saw speeds around 180mph. Forget autofocus.

That's a really great shot! Love the way the wake just disappears. (must have been loud too!) Coast Air 131 landing at the Harbour today. Another takeoff.
