A shot from the nose gunners position on Aluminum Overcast. That is the best seat I have ever had on an airplane!

Thanks to the EAA, on a flight from San Diego to Chino. Shot towards the tail is through Plexiglas so all bets are off on that one.

Nice Mark!
It's gotta be something to ride in one of the B-17s.

She is heading out to Modesto next week and I was wondering if any one knows what runway she'll be landing on and when? I know they will park her near Hanger 6, but I want shots of her flying. What is the normal day for this plane? I spoke with one person so far and he said it stays parked for two days and leaves? I was hoping for a flight or two each day.
Thanks in advance.

It really depends upon how many people are interested in taking a ride. Last year at Mather they went up probably 5-6 times each day.

Last year at Fox Field, they went up numerous times a day also, but this year, one once the first day and I don't even know if they went up at all the second day.
Probably due to the current economy and not that much disposable income being available. I know that I'm not even going down to LAX just to shoot as much I I did last year.

Dispite the crappy weather, light drizzle of rain and dark clouds, I thought most of my photos turned out ok. I got to talk to the crew for a while, and I must say they are some first class guys. All n all it was a good day.

Nice collection there, Eddie.
Love the bomb rack, and the way the bombs were stowed in the days
