And in Long Beach CA.  This plane ride was a real challenge.  Only 25 minutes to take it all in, pictures, the plane, the view.  I thought about handcuffing myself in so I could keep on flying.

Very nice shots, indeed!  I, too had the awesome experience of a B-17 ride!  This was way back- late eighties, I think, in Geneseo, N.Y.  These are scans of B&W negs..... Man, how photography has changed!!!!!

Not sure whether she was born here or not, I think she was a Vega-built bird. Wherever it was it's always good to see her - she sounds so smooooooth...
