Someone should inform the Danes that it is "461st" not "461th".  Roll Eyes

Unless they went to public school in the U.S., of course.  Wink

Spent the afternoon at Navy yesterday. Was rather slow until this A-10 departed as Swine 31. After he left I saw 9 out of towners in about one hour. 7 CAF Hornets are back in town as well as these Harriers. In all not bad for a Saturday afternoon.

So this is what was on the deck:
Transit Line:
2x A-10's at least one KC.
2x F-16's Looked like OT.
2x AV-8's.

South of Transit Line:
7x CAF CF-188's.

Two of the CAF Hornets below. First one goes out to all the CAF Fighterchicks. The second one with some nice tail art.

7 are in town. Probably for some time. Did not see any support aircraft.
Dagger 31, 32 and 33 were: 188743, 188735 and 188770.
Sorry, no call sign for the next two: 188747 and 188777.
Nightmare 71 and 72: 188776 and 188761.

Thanks Keith.

Tell you what. It was one of those days where it just seemed like a waste of time to hang out there any longer. Glad it turned around.

The CAF Hornets are supporting a FAC/JTAC course up on the Smokey Hills range near Salina, Kansas. Here at McConnell, we've got an CC-150 Polaris MRTT w/A/R pods, plus a podded CC-130 providing the tanker support.

Great pics. I'd love to catch them up this way.

Those jets were through Buckley earlier, and were flying under the callsign of CLOAK.  Smiley

Hello all,

Was out there most of the day today waiting for BF-2 first flight but something broke down  and it missed its 12:00 first flight. Strike two for me so I hope someone can get it during the first flight hopefully tomorrow.

Salty Dog F-18 flew as Rocket 22 as well as a Greek F-16 (Viper 1). Two CF-18's left around 11:00 am and came back at 4:00pm (Tinman 11 and 12). Two A-10's (Swine) left early that morning as well. The color bird  (CF-18) landed around 11:00 am as Omni (?). Good looking aircraft. The CAT Bird was being worked on the Lockheed ramp so maybe it will be flying this week.

Good luck folks- hope you guys get BF-2 sometime this week.

This was in 2006.   The last Tomcat through NASFW.     Just fun to look back at what was. . . .

Smiley    sorry Zane.     I had a Hunters pilot at the time e-mail me that day and said it was stopping by.   When I pulled up to the spot it was taxiing out.    5 minutes later and I would have missed it.
