Isn't the Moody Hawg a demo team jet? Note the AF Wings emblem on the vert stab.

They do if it's reserve weekend(which I believe is the 2nd weekend of each month).  Most weekends the Spads(F-16s) are up in the AM, however I believe many of them just deployed to Iraq so there may not be much more around.  You'll usually see some activity on Saturdays though.  I haven't been out in a good while though so some of the locals may be able to tell you about the more recent activity there.

Kind of, AFRC drills are generally the second weekend of the month while ANG and USMC drills can be other times. They fly a lot on Saturdays but are usually fixing them on Sunday. The Spads only sent six of their 27 airplanes east so there should still lots of flying.

Very nice Gladiator, Scott. Where were you standing for the tanker shot?

Thanks Frank, I was standing near the Taco Bueno on the southeast end of the runway.  It’s not a very good spot for shooting something relatively small like a fighter but in the mornings for south bound traffic it can work for the larger birds.

No, there hasn’t been any F-35 activity since late November that I know of. I’m hoping for something to startup again soon plus BF-2 should start fling in the next month or so.

.From what I've read.....the Bf-2 Paint job is finished...still  continuing engine runs, taxi test  ext.  in preperation for flight late this month or early February.

.AA-1 begins to continue testing this week back to flying late this month.

.Bf-1 is converting to a VTOL engine....The original installed engine was not certified for VTOL operations, only CTOL. The new engine being installed will be VTOL capable allowing all  testing to continue

.Also 10 aircraft are scheduled for first flights this year, 10  will be completed vefore the end of the year.

Had a few snow days the first few days of the week but looks like they’ve been making up for lost time that past few days…
