Thanks guys.

Waltz, Im only assuming that the bird is being readied to be transferred to another unit. The pilot was a PA pilot and was taking it to depot.

Correct guys 196 was heading to depot to be modified into an A-10C. We now have 6 jets remaining with 2 still away ay depot. We are suppose to get one back in August and the other in December. I don' t think we will see the one come back in December however. Plus we have to go thru a UCI ( Unit Compliance Inspection ) next week.
Here' s where the iron will end up once they are done at depot.
Jets to DM AFB
275  981  647  949  659  273
Jets to Selfridge
170  193  184  641  196

Yes we do. I believe the DVHAA, the museum at Willow Grove, will be getting 516. The other jet, 248, is a  gate guard near our old HQ building.
