New UK formation team - The Blades / 2Excel

2Excel Aviation launched the UK's newest formation team, The Blades, at Sywell on Thursday. They fly Extra 300s and have an impressive routine that combines all the best bits from some of the big jet teams with a few twists of their own. From a photographer's point of view it's pretty good!











Enough of the machines, here's the men - from left to right - Bruno Van Waeyenberghe, Andy Offer, Myles Garland and Andy Evans.



They have ambitious plans for the team, and will not just be flying displays - they are also aiming big time for the corporate market with entertainment (go flying - throw up - go drinking - throw up?), team development/leadership development courses, aeros training, etc. The launch was certainly a polished affair and it's clear these guys are very serious indeed about making 2Excel a big success.
