Friday 6pm
1 B-25, 1 T-6, 4 Corsairs with only one more expected.
Bring bug spray, little tiny bugs that have a big bite were all over us until we used the complimentary deep woods off at one of the vendor tents.
also stick a sandwich in a pocket, there is only two food vendors and they ran out of stuff on friday...
no real aerobatic flights just multiple low approaches. lots of stuff to look at and interesting people to listen to.

Although not an "airshow" this was a Salute to veterans marking th 60th anniversary of the end of WWII. The flying demonstrations (fly bys) were very good, 5 Corsairs were on hand as well as B-25 Panchito, an AT-23 trainer, a Yak and an T-6 Texan. In addition a couple of CT ANG A-10 made several passes in the afternoon. The Corsair was recently named the official plane for the state of Connecticut and was designed and built by Chance Vought at what is now Sikorsky Memorial Airport the, location for this event. Here is a shot ot 4 of the corsairs at the end of the day yesterday, I will add some flying shots later.

Cool how the vapors encircle the aircraft.

Liza, that's what I thought when I looked at it last night. I'm still learning to adjust a picture to attach to these postings as well as working on the prop blur thing Angry

I, too, am working on the prop blur thing. Getting better when the aircraft is on the ground and I have a tripod. In the air, well, that's another story....
