Cool look  Afro  Is that the original background?  The canopy looks like blue sky on the opposite side- or just canopy distortion.

Yup it's the original, just the angle of the canopy. I've got another shot while the plane is more level which shows the horizon of the mountains & sky also.

Yup it's the original, just the angle of the canopy. I've got another shot while the plane is more level which shows the horizon of the mountains & sky also.

The F-22 canopy presents several looks depending on angles, lighting, etc.  Sometimes it's totally reflective with the gold coating, sometimes not.
I found one that's like your's with the canopy bending the light so that the sky is present instead of the direct background.
