Thanks again, glad you liked them. Rich, I didn't go overboard with the shadow/highlight tool, I mainly lasso'd the subjects surrounding areas and tweaked the contrast to bring out the ground details that shooting through glass seems to kill, especially at altitude. That shadow/highlight tool needs to be handled with kid gloves, so I only use it to finely adjust images now. Next time you do Red Flag I'll happily come along to show you! (runs for cover...)

Oddly enough you are the third person to ask me that question. They are indeed real images. I like them because they almost look like paintings.

Many of you know that Maj "Max" Moga is a personal friend of mine (I name drop every chance I get  Tongue). I already know what I am going to get him for Christmas this year and maybe you can join in, too.

I'm thinking of giving him a digital picture frame. I'd like to load that memory card with air show photos from the folks here on FC. Every show performance of his will be duly recorded by the many pros here and wouldn't it be nice for Max to see the year in review on a continuous basis? Of course, if you wanted to contribute, you would want to include your name and air show location/date for posterity (and the admiring Generals hanging around Max's office). No images sent to me would ever be posted, of course.

I'll take care of the boring horizontal flat passes, so the rest of you need to concentrate on the burner, vapes and artistic stuff. I would probably want to include just a few candid "Max with the crowd" shots, too.

With the season about to start, I wanted to throw this out now in hopes you'll keep this gift from us, you and me, in mind.

Any thoughts? And shhhhh, it's a secret.

Thanks, Check. I'll look forward to some good ones from you. Home base will surely get some extra punch in the show as I expect Tyndall to get, too.

Hey Everyone,
Glen Childress and I just got back from NAS Oceana and Langley and I wanted to throw up a few of the 22's that I photographed on the 8th.  I hope you enjoy...
