Are there any good articles out there on digital workflow?

Is there a workflow that you use that you think would help everyone?  Editing?  Backup?  File Management?

Thanks!

take pics from camera - put into folder (name of event + date) - using batch editor rename files to 0001-9999 + event name ie. "0001 Yeovilton Airshow 06" -  backup onto external drive / DVD

if RAW pictures are taken - process using RAW converter supplied with camera / C1 / Photoshop / other RAW converter to TIFF (16bit if possible)

open pics in Photoshop / Elements / Corel blah etc.

edit out anything that gets in the way of focusing on main subject in pic / add tip of wing u accidentally cut off etc.. crop and save as TIFF LZW compression - resize for web and save as jpg in different folder

upload jpgs to web

backup TIFF's - external device / DVD

send pictures to print

job done..
