Ive been trying to replicate the way images look in top Gear. But i suck at analyzing what I see. So i just played around with photoshop and i came up with this:

yes its a horrible attempt so any help would be gladly appreciated!

I started editing a few like this myself. Here are two fairly recent ones...

I did add a gradient to the sky and the way I get the desaturated colors is quite easy. Just PM me if interested I will step you through it. I am using Photoshop, by the way.

Mickey, is it just me or is it every post I read from you have a hint of negativity sprinkled in it?

It looks cool, but try it with an overcast ceiling that's when they use the effect alot in the show and I think that's when it looks best!
