Put me down for this show again. Second year the Blues will be there and same for me.

I was told that a second "international" jet team would be at this show, but the date on their schedule still shows at TBD, so I guess all negotiations and arrangements aren't final for them yet. Still, it should be a blast again this year and I know a certain other photographer is looking forward to running into a certain Police Captain again.....

I believe this is going to be a David Schultz show again, so hopefully we can have a 2010 Fencecheck Photopit, similiar to the one we had in 2009. If so, then we can all meet again at the Dreamland BBQ after the Friday practice day, for another Fencecheck dinner get together, like we did in 2009.

Vance, I also hope the shutter on your camera makes it through the 2010 show.

I just hope the layout isn't as atrocious for those of us not in the photo pit as it was last year. Beside walking over a mile to even get in the nearest gate, if you even attempted to shoot anywhere near show center the over zealous Tuscaloosa PD ran you off. Here's also to hoping that they learned that no one wants to pay $10 per person to sit in a folding chair on the tarmac. Well less than half of those seats were used last year.

I am "newbie" supporter with  Fence Check, having just discovered it, so I am looking forward to getting to know you guys!

Living in Tuscaloosa myself, I am definitely on for this one!  Hopefully I will be able to meet several of you and join the Fence Check crew in the Photopit, should they have one this year.  I managed to get in to photograph the practice session on Friday last year and also attended the Saturday event, but I am most certain that those in the Photopit had a much better perspective.  Again, I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and should you have any questions about the Tuscaloosa area, please don't hesitate to ask.

For those travelling to this show and needing a hotel room for overnight, I suggest that you book your hotel room as soon as possible. I just found out that the University Of Alabama Spring Graduation is taking place on May 8th, so hotel rooms are filling up fast, with most of the higher end hotels already booked full for the weekend.
