Thats a potential for a stellar airshow! I know its a bit early, but what acc demo are we likely to be getting? Will we have more afterburner than the Navy and ACC demos?

Thanks for keeping us up to date  Grin

Think we might see a B-1 or b-2 on static or flying this year? I will cry tears of joy if we get either  Dance Dance Dance! Dance!

That is not a bad line up.  Afro

I can't wait to see that P-51C fly. It's a fave of mine.  Drool

. . .
We may get to see a Raptor fly just because we have no T-birds.  We'll see.  I passed along our strong wishes to ACC.

We talked to a lot of folks at ICAS, but because of the Air Force rules concerning contracts etc, we could not sign or promise anything to anyone. That being said, the following are the performers we have expressed an interest in bringing to McChord for 2010:

Patriots Jet Team
Mig Fury Fighters
Jacquie B
CAF P-51 Red Tail
Tim Weber
John Klatt (ANG)
USO Jet Car
Kent Pietsch (jelly belly)
T-33 Ace Maker

In addition we can expect the following participation:
C-17 Demo
C-17 3 ship airdrop demo
ACC demo
Heritage Flight
Navy Demo
Navy Legacy
Airfield assault
Warbird Review

I'm looking forward to the F-22 & the C-17s + the Navy & USAF demos.  Thinking about coming on down to see 'em alll - definitely if there's a F-22 please :-).

That is freaking cool!

I'd also dig a three ship C-17 fly by.  Wink

We will most likely NOT get the F-22 demo again.  There is some big time show in Europe that will be happening on the same weekend.  Look for something else, maybe an F-15E or F-16 demo or both.

Any chance you can get the Superbug demo? I think it's the best demo after the Raptor. Plus the Hornet can pull some Vapor off the sound.  Evil

Really looking forward to this year's show!  With all of the P-51's in the area now, this could be a mini gathering of Mustangs.

I personally would love a mini gathering, however, at $5K a pop, it is cost prohibitive.

P-51B Impatient Virgin?
P-51D Val Halla
P-51D American Beauty
P-51D Upupa Epops

know of any others?

Hell-er Bust is now in Idaho after being sold last year.  I think the rest of the list captures the P-51's in Western Washington.

I'm really looking forward to this airshow! I've lived in the area for about a year and have never been to McChord (although I've flown over it. The bunch of C-17s parked outside is easy to identify).

And it's near the start of the Pacific Northwest's "let's see how many airshows we can pack into two months" marathon: Arlington, McChord, Pasco+Fairchild, Tillamook, SeaFair, Abbotsford, and Portland Hillsboro, all back to back to back.

Yeah I hear that, I did up my tentative schedule and if everything comes together I'll be at some sort of airshow/aviation event from June straight through to the end of August.

It's gonna be a fun summer  Grin
