Richard do you know by any chance if the wartime pilot of Happy Jack's Go Buggy is the same then the pilot who flew the P38 Lightning with the same name saw that P38 several years ago in the UK but unfortunately that one is crashed and destroyed killing the display pilot.....
Cool photo by the way
J.A.

Side note just found a article and it is the same pilot J.M. Ilfrey

This is a shot when I rode with Mike in the back of Moonbeam, Vlado flew lead in Excalibur, and Doc in "The Buggy".

Checkertail Flight.  Nathan Davis in his P-51, and my dad flew his T-6D.

My Son enjoying his Christmas present at Stallion 51.  Needless to say he had an unbelievable time flying Crazy Horse, the people at Stallion 51 made sure of that and as a bonus I got access to the best photo opprtunity I have ever had.

Now that is a Christmas present to remember! And speaking of great photo access ops...

In 1998 I had the good fortune to go up for what is still my one and only WWII warbird ride and "air to air" photo op... I snapped this pic out the access portal in the tail section of the Planes of Fame's B-25 "Photo Fanny" with my 35mm instamatic something-or-other. I just found it in my scanned archives last night, after thinking it lost forever due to a computer misshap.
