Let's try this again. First, I apologize to all for the false start as I wasn't made aware that photos had to be posted with the start of the thread until after it was removed. I am sorry for any confusion this may have caused.  Embarrassed

This is the sister thread to the "Pilots in Cockpits (Military)" thread.

You can post your shots of pilots in their cockpits including airline pilots, civilian airshow performers, etc...

I'm not sure if this counts or not... I was at the MIS in Brooklyn, MI during the CARFAX 400.  This guy shot me as I was shooting him, we waved to one another right after...  Too bad my lens sucks compared to his!   I apologize for the stop-action rotor, I'm still learning.  Only had the camera a couple months.

Ditto.  I'm going to have to try a shot like that next time I'm up doing aerobatics.

Were you using fill-flash for the interior?

As the test pilot climbs out of the experimental aircraft, having torn off the wings and tail in the crash landing, the crash truck arrives.

The rescuer sees the bloodied pilot and asks, 'What happened?' The pilot's reply: 'I don't know, I just got here myself!'
