I would like to put in a request for a photopit at the Go Guard! SC Air & Ground Show 2009. It is a David Schultz show, according to the Fencecheck Air Show database, so hopefully the powers that be can make it happen.

Been seeing a trend this year concerning airshows and photopits. With budgets being tightened for many reasons (often loss of sponsors), we are beginning to see more airshows offering paid entrance to a photopit. Having this type of pit offering precludes creating an FC only option. Thunder over Michigan and Dayton have offered paid pits for a while now, but others will be starting to spring up. I am afraid this trend is to stay. Placing myself in the shoes of a show director/promotor, I can't blame any one of them for looking for other opportunitues to make additional revenue.
We will continue to work on FC photopits for our members and will let every know as (hopefully) more come to pass.

LIsa, I see that Schultz has the website for the Slidell Airshow up; any chance of a photo pit or being able to get in there the day before?
Thanks again! Otto

Slidell is not one of the shows being offered for a photopit. I'm sorry.

My vote would be for Fort Wayne Bear Field ANG base. Moving from F-16's to A-10's soon.
