Phlying Phantoms, the Canadian CF-18 showbird and Tornados-- 3 things we never see at Miramar.  I am jealous.  Awesome photos.

Kind of bummed that the statics didn't even make one pass down the near runway. They seemingly landed on the White Sands Missile Range and taxied about 5 miles to the ramp.

Possibly louder than the Raptor?

Speaking of Raptors, the HO sun generated some nice long shadows:

Awesome shots Bill, as always. What kind of lens/camera setup are you using? It's amazingly clear and color is perfect...

Thanks, Rapier. 5DMkII, 5D & 1DMkIIN. In addition to using glass recently repaired/calibrated at Canon and a dash of CS4, I believe the crisp desert air helped a lot with clarity. I'm used to "air you can wear," so it was a noticeable and very pleasant change out there.

Raptor Demo Team's "Skittles" GIB taking pictures:

Sweet setup...  It's amazing the detail you can capture with big CMOS chip. Nice shot of the Phantom...
