Great shots everyone Afro. Any shots of the Tornados doing inflight refuel demo? Or did that not happen? Love to see more shots from the show and static display Dance

I was still out in the parking area when they came right at me. Just a single pass, I believe:

Here is a Red Air T-38. Took a picture of the GIB, but he didn't have any patches or insignia, so I figured he was CIA or something. He appeared to not like his picture being taken either. Other than this guy, as they say, Holloman is the friendliest place on earth:

Yeah, that GIB looks mighty suspicious.... and familiar too!  Folks, that is none other than our own BillF, about to experience the thrills of the wild blue yonder over the beautiful New Mexico landscape.

Way to GO Bill!   Cheers  Dance  Cheers   Helo  Afro

Even with the mask on, you can tell he's grinning like the Chesire Cat...Musta been a fun ride! Afro

How do I tell another Fencechecker from all the other long lens folks out there in Airshowland? You got a secret hand signal or something?

Lucky, bet it was fun.  I still need to go through the altitude chamber and get my 'card' so I can fly in fighter type aircraft over FL180.

At other shows, Zeke has taken off and turned away from the crowd to get into the box. At Holloman, he took off from way out in the boondocks and then had to turn in to the crowd; in to the box. That is why the low transition.

Climbing the mountain was the start of the show:

That second shot of the turn after transition is a beauty, Bill! Nice work!!  Drool

awesome light during the Raptor demo and great shots!  Really liking the takeoff shot and the one with the mountains.  It's been awhile since I have been out to Alamogordo.  I think a trip is in order!   Afro
