I am highly interested in this air show. I attended the 2007 Expo and am considering attending , again, this year.

The reason that I went to the 2007 Expo was to view the X Prize rocket contests. Do you know what involvement the space community is scheduled to have for the 2009 Expo, if any?

I plan on driving down from Albuquerque after a mid shift...I'll be wearing my desert cammie boonie...Any idea if this F-4 is a gray one, or "retro camouflage"? LOVE THEM RHINOS!

Their airshow birds are prettied up "retro camo"but you will see some Grey ones out there.  I am hoping to see the QRF-4.

Just received an invite to the show and looking to fit it into the vacation schedule.  Haven't been down there since the F-117 started doing daylight ops in the 90's.

This was a great show in '05. I do remember though sitting at a restaurant on Sunday after the show with Roger and Flyingkiwi and the look on their faces when the waitress said; "I'm sorry we don't sell beer on Sunday."

Good question.  2 years ago it was an F-4, an F-22, an F-117, and an F-15.  I am pretty sure it will be at least an F-4 and an F-22.  The F-4 did quite a few passes in El Paso, once it came in, and also when it left..."HAD TO BURN OFF FUEL"....so I am pretty sure he will do some flyby's, but not a "demo" like the Raptor.

TOM was the first F-4 I have seen in years so I'm looking forward to seeing it again!

The German Luftwaffe is also going to fly 2-3 of their Tornados, showing also the buddy-buddy-refuelling  Afro
At least that's what I have been told today.
And they now have also a s/c Tornado, celebrating 55.555 flight hours of Tornados at Holloman:
