good eye and clone job Keith -- the light was definitely a challenge the second half of the show. Not sure if I got one keeper pic of the P-38, other than the formation pass.

Yes, the morning was nice, afternoon was a nightmare. Mostly the heat shimmer killed any shot 30 degrees off show center. What looked to be great lighting at the west end turned out way too soft. The human eye can see through it, but a still frame shows how bad it is. I have the same problem shooting moon rises in the summer. My "Wolf Moon Rising" was shot in the high Sierras in January and was awesome. An enormous red sunset saturated the mountain and snow with the hues.
