Fence Check Aviation Photography | Rules of the Road (revised) - Critique & Travel Arrangement Boards, too

Greetings All,

We have revised the Rules of the Road for posting in the forums. We have taken the previously posted ones and expanded them. A couple of the changes include critiquing and travel arrangements which will eventually affect the board layout as well. These changes are partially in response to a discussion thread and the moderator team’s desire for more streamlined boards.

With regard to posting critiques, feel free to ask for feedback in any of the boards. We do ask in providing feedback that we are thoughtful of the poster and only do so if it has been requested. Everyone has a different level of sensitivity to his/her work and may not take kindly to unsolicited scrutiny whether public or private. If someone has not asked for feedback and you see where a tip could be helpful, please contact the poster via PM or email first to see if he/she would like some tips or pointers.

As for posting travel arrangements in the aerial events aka airshows section, feel free to do so in the pertaining event thread. These items might include tips on lodging or restaurants, dinner meet ups, ride sharing, etc. If the posts become too distracting, they may be split into their own thread but left in the previews area for later removal. Any useful information for future events may also be split and moved to the Location Info board once the current event has passed.

Both the Critiques and Travel Arrangement boards will be closed and removed from the forums sometime after June 15th. If anyone wishes to save or print information from them, feel free to do so. Items in the Travel Arrangements will most likely be moved to the Location Information area.
