We've done this for the last couple years and might be fun to do again. As the season winds down, let's see some of your favorite shots. Please try to limit to only a handful (if possible) each.

My two for the year...

Well, here in Europe the season is over anyway, but I only went to three airshows this year (and twice to Red Flag, so not complaining).

First of all former RAF Laarbruch, to stay with Liza's vantage point:

Then Belgian Flair Wink at Leeuwarden:

Well, it's been such an incredible season, I hope I will be forgiven if I post perhaps a few too many shots.  It's not so much because I think I have that many great images, but just because there were so many great moments to capture!

Oh, and I would most remiss indeed if I did not thank Liza for arranging the Fence Check photopit for Oceana that helped me get so many of my shots -- thanks again!  Same goes for Semper Apollo and his awesome Mom for allowing me to shoot from their roped-off area at AC and Oceana, much thanks!

OK, this is starting to sound like an Oscar acceptance speech, so before I start thanking my 4th Grade History teacher and the band starts playing me off the stage, here are my favs from the season:

My 2 favorite shots. Shot was taken with my canon point and shoot. Good little camera but I keep begging the wife to let me upgrade lol.

For me, these are my favorite for 2008.

Photo 1: The F7F Tigercat flight of three at the Reno Air Races in Nevada.

Photo 2&3: Patriots Jet Team formation pass with a 747SP and the 747SP low pass at the Miramar Air Show in California.

First shot is of the Wall of Fire during the CDF demo at the March Airfest.  I was hoping to get the Thunderbirds with the Wall of Fire in the background but there was too much cluter.  Then these guys showed up and parked right in front of me.  So I improvised, zoomed in, and got one of my favorite pictures ever.

Second shot is when I became the proud first time parent of a full prop circle at 1/60 at the Ramona Airshow.

Third shot was a toss up from Miramar.  There was lots of good vapor and I got some good afterburner shots.

I had the same problem, shot from a different location the next day to get this...........................
