For the post back up the line a bit, I'm six foot and 250. I hate little cockpits!

Here's a shot from the 1977 Confederate Air Force Air Power Display in Harlingen, TX. It was and still is my only air-to-air photograph. I had the pleasure of flying in the B-17G "Class of 44" (which is now "Sentimental Journey") on an early morning dawn patrol flight prior to the start of the airshow. It was taken with my first 35mm SLR and old Yashica FR-1 using 35mm slide film. The photo was taken through the nose sitting in the bombardier's chair. Quite exciting flying in formation with another B-17G that morning. The other B-17G is the Confederate (Commemorative) Air Force's B-17G "Texas Raider's". It's been a long time since we've seen her on the airshow circuit. That flight by the way cost me a mere 10.00 dollars and sign a waiver for an hour long flight. That same flight today would cost you around 425.00 and a little shorter ride. Great time that I'll never forget. Lance
