Hi All,

Well this is my first new thread so I thought I would start off with something I enjoy, which is Air to Air shooting with Warbirds.

The first one is me in the backseat of Larry greens T2V on are way out to meet up for some Air to Air with Ed Stead in his Vampire and Dean Martin in his Mig-17
The next one is a group on L-17 owners who do allot of Formation stuff up here in the North East
The next are some more of the WWI stuff from last years Geneseo and finally are some current stuff.

The last one was taken at NAS Brunswick we were passing over the left runway doing a right hand approach when the P-3 was on roll we keep straight on down and I got some shots as the P-3 climb out.

Hope you all like them Smiley

Cheers

All right Victor...what's the deal?  Did you win some sort of "Back in Time to shoot your favorite airplane" lottery?  Surely you weren't on a chase mission with the XB-70.  I'd love to hear this story!

Hehe, It's from my Dad, he was working on a hypersonic research vehicle that was to be mounted on top of the XB-70. Unfortunately the project was scraped after the crash. Funny how it looks and performs just like the X-43. Oh crap there's two guys at my front door in black suits... gota go...

Well, before they take you away. got anymore of those XB-70 pics to share?  That's one of the planes that really got my interest in aircraft piqued when I was a kid.  I take a ton of pics of her at the USAF museum every year I go there.  Unfortunately with her in the R & D hangar you can't get any clear shots of her.  Hope they can find a better place for her in the future.

The Valkryie was one of my all time favourite aircraft. I still enjoy watching the videos of it during its test flights. Even have the one where it clipped the F104, not a nice sight.

Scott - The pics of the warbirds bring back some great memories as a couple of good friends owned some of them, Alan Preston and David Price ie: Miss America and Dago Red. Another good friend, Bruce Lockwood used to also fly Dago until he retired after his friend was killed at Reno.

Do you have any shots of Voodoo Chili. I have been for a few desert bashes in David's other Mustang, in RAAF paint scheme, with Bob "Hurricane" Hannah while David was in the Bearcat and Alan was in Miss A. Those were the days  Cry

Hey there Air2Air,

No, I don't have any of the shots you're looking for, but I do know David, Alan and Bruce. I especially like Bruce, whom was my P-51 instructor. Who are you?  Cool
