Here is my best attempt at prop blur, taken at the RAAF Richmond airshow.

1/80th using a 500mm f4 with a 1.4x converter handheld.

Some prop blur during AR. Shot at 1/100th with a stable receiver

Oh come on!

Since you don't have to pan I expect 1/4 to 1/10 of a second shutters from now on!   Dance

Nice shot all same!

Cheers,
Rob

Slide scan of another Herc. As far as prop blur, with the light being what it was I had very little choice in the matter.

A couple of shots of an RAF Herk at Birmingham, shot with the Canon 1-4 with IS on. The rollout shot was at 1/60, but I chickened out on the takeoff - that was up at 1/100.

thanks Dave - I use the civvies as practice - dark side shooting does have SOME merit.  Evil

I was lucky with the light on the Herc as it made the prop disc stand out nicely as sometimes, like the Dash, they are almost invisible in the wrong light angle.
