I was wondering if one of you Westcoast residents has seen this Viper in the past. Shot it in 1998 at Fresno when it came fresh from the paintshop but the 144FW pilots didn't like it and I haven't seen it afterwards published in a magazine so I assume it ended a silent and quick death....

I know everybody else has moved on the posting shots of Hertitage Flights and A-10s.  I'm still putting up stuff I scanned last week, to add to threads from the week before....

For the benefit of our friends overseas who don't see them too often, some Guard Vipers.  First one is 125 FS Oklahoma ANG.  The tail markings may not be PC, but I'd like to think any native American would be pleased how sharp it looks.

A two-holer from the Sioux City "Bats" of the 174th FS.  Sadly, these markings are no more as the unit has converted to the KC-135.

A pilot from the 119 FS ND-ANG mans up his ADF jet.

An F-16 wearing braces!  I'll bet all the other jets laugh at him!  Actually, it's an intake screen, as this 112 FS OH-ANG jet is undergoing engine checks.

Jorgo, note the depth of field on the last one.  Hyperfocal enough?

I managed to fanagle a base visit last week with the 181 FW, Indiana ANG, at Terre Haute, IN.  The weather cooperated for the most part, and I got a chance to walk the flightline and shoot every F-16 on the ramp, along with several inside the hangar.  Here is my favorite shot of the day.

Here's 85-1555, wearing a SAM-kill marking beneath the canopy.  It was obtained during May of 2002 during ONW.

Enjoy.
