Last update
  Skippycage//you da man!!    Great shots
How was your timing for the arrival?
  25 hours Lips Sealed

arrived within 1.5 of arrival as it was delayed 30 mins in TX - which was good as I was scrambling around to get someone to grant me permission to access the ramp (they were VERY busy but very accommodating)

thanks for the heads up! I would never have known otherwise - worth the extra 8 hours driving!

Were the arrival times for the North Island Tomcat in Eastern time or not?  I'm going to get ready to head down there, but it would be nice to know before sit out there for three hours.

Thanks.

here is FELIX 11 departing Navy Ft. Worth today.  Thanks to fence check I was able to see a tomcat once again.  Haven't seen one around here in about 7 years after the locals stopped flying them.  Didn't think I would see one again either.  I'm not particularly proud of this shot or the way it went down but it will be a nice memory for the personal collection.  FELIX was going to make several touch and gos on arrival and then was waved off at the last minute by the tower and did a full stop landing and then turned off the active before he ever got to us.  Then on departure he was just too high...oh well, I just wanted to see the last Tomcat to come through Ft. Worth.  The photo is just a quick edit...nothing really done to it...

once again I just have to thank sky chief for the heads up on the tomcat flight routes and times.  Would have been at a different airport today had I not checked here yesterday and missed the last tomcat.  Thanks again!  I will sift through some old tomcat shots in the near future and post some Dallas/Ft. Worth F-14s.

Here is a shot of FELIX 102 arriving at North Island.  Glad it came in when it did.  Fog was lurking out over Point Loma and seemed to be moving in quickly.  Anyway, thanks to all for the heads up.  I got a chance to see history.

Ruben, it was nice meeting you!
