Given that this was my first Leeuwarden Open House, I thought the variety of aircraft was quite good, even liked the fact that you can take a train to Leeuwarden from Amsterdam and hop on a bus right to the base, no car needed.  Had a great time at the 2 day show, have lots of photos to go through, but did want to give a big thanks to Andre for answering my hundred or so questions about getting to the show.

I think I am bit spoiled by Leeuwarden airshows in the past but if its your first it really pays of.

Hope you enjoyed the rest of Holland as well  Grin and had safe trip home.

This year the "Open Dagen 2008" was celebrated at the Leeuwarden Airbase.
With nearly 170.000 visitors this Show is one of the biggest in Europa.
The Parking and the Show is for free!!!
