Here is a slightly different view of Midway. I had the pleasure to be aboard the tall ship American Pride for three of the west coast ASTA events this last summer. I have been official ship's photographer for Pride since 2005. This photograph gives a sea level view of the Pride of Dana Point as she sails by the bow of Midway in the Port of San Diego.

CV41 was my first duty station, after San Diego. Yokosuka Japan, was pretty awesome. Subic Bay, Phillipines, best port of call in the western pacific. I am really glad that she became a museum, in downtown san diego. cant wait to get back to so-cal, and see my first ship again.
