This may be my 1 traveling show. I would like to do 1 show a ways away from here each year, and Georgia is just close enough, but just far enough away, to be a good 1st year attempt at that. Besides, I was born right down the road in Decatur, GA, and my dad's side of the family all lives there in GA.....would be a good excuse to see them lol.

Hey Chris,
Maybe you can help the SO with the traffic situation there. It is always a NIGHTMARE! Shocked

Perhaps they have a better plan this time. Roll Eyes

What agency are you with? I'll try to stop by and speak. I used to be with Muscogee County SO here in Columbus, GA.

See Ya!

I am with Cobb County SO.  The SO isnt responsible for the traffic, that is the PD.  I know what you mean though traffic is a NIGHTMARE when an airshow is in town.  If I do not work it I plan on leaving my house at 5:30 or 6am.  Anywho when the time gets closer I will PM you my cell and we can meet up. See yall there.

I worked Dobbins Tower 69-70 and Dobbins GCA 71-73, so I hope to come back "home" for a reunion of sorts. I'm interested in visiting my old barracks, ATC facilities, etc, in addition to watching the show.

I'll holler at ya, Chris, closer to time...

Hey there, Bill, I guess I'll see you as well. I also see that you have acquired one sweet camera since we met at Tyndall last year. You will remember me, I had the smallest glass there Cry.
I'm looking to change that, though! Grin
Canon, of course. Afro

See Y'all...

I'll be attending this show as well. Good we have the Blues and TBirds visiting the Peach State in '08! Afro

I worked with Muscogee County Sheriff's Ofc. in Columbus, GA until 2004.  Jail division.

The best advice I can give you for Law Enforcement:

Be honest to a fault. Most people do not think so, but 98% of LE are brutally honest, because we all know that the smallest detail WILL be found-out and bite you when you least expect it.

Second, always carry whether on duty or off. You forget the perps, but they NEVER forget you. Get a comfortable weapon.

Third, you are ALWAYS ON ALERT.

Good luck.

Not my favorite venue but this is gonna be a good one. Thunderbirds always worthwhile, but we may get all three Starfighter 104s and F-22 demo. Marked this one on my calender, its shaping up nicely.  Dance

Looks like a good show and I have my calendar marked. Never been before and I am fearing the worse, about traffic, from everyone's comments... Huh

Hopefully they'll bring a C-5M Super Galaxy over from Lockheed for the C-5 display.  I'm dying to see the new engines and lighting inside up close!
