They are fine   Friday was easy for settings, Saturday was a bit hazy and a little challenging, Sunday was off the charts!  I shot video on Sunday and only a few stills.

I didn't go Friday... that was a mistake. 

Saturday was my best day.

Sunday I tried a different spot from Saturday and used the 300mm instead of the 420 combo with the extender and that was a mistake.

Just got back from Salinas - wow, what a great airshow they run down there! Lot's of great airshow action. Loved the Collaborators. The "Rhino" high speed pass on Sunday was incredible...too many good things to mention here, but all the performances were fantastic. I hope to get some video up soon.  

Congrats Gail, Kathy, Harry and the rest of the hardworking California International Airshow - Salinas. Thanks also for the hospitality.

Calling all Super Hornet experts.  Pardon my stupidity…  These are the 2 F/A-18Fs of the demo team - #113 on the left and #115 on the right.  What are the small round vents/tubes on top of 113?  Flare dispensers or engine bypass vents?
