Awesome show today. I think there was more vapor on these aircraft than I have ever seen at a show. It was a shame I had to fly out of there early but I was afraid the weather would close in , ceiling was 1100 feet when I took off. Cant wait to see some vapor shots of the Hornet demo!

Yup we got fogged out. The T-boids had to cancel, ceiling was way too low. Vapor was really great today as stated, but  the F-15, The CAF Demo and the P-38 and Corsair Julie and Ken Pietsch were flown before we got socked in. The Oracle team flew as well 2x.

Salinas was kind enough to let me shoot from their field this weekend. I was more then happy having Hornets and Eagles buzzing over my head.  Cool I even had to duck a few times when Keith was up.  I even spotted myself in a photo posted already.   Afro

Mark, too bad the weather was so crappy. I got a great shot of you leaving today, but it's darker the heck.  Embarrassed

Jim, I had fun hanging out with you and I look forward to more of your photos.

I forgot to add that the vapor was wicked today.  Evil I even saw the P-38 pulling vapor behind the canopy.

Eddie I'd love to see it whenever you get all your editing done!

Where did you shoot from? Salinas is one of my favorite spots as a spectator you can just see everything and runway 8/26 is right in front of you.

As Les stated earlier a good part of the show including the Thunderbirds got fogged out...still had a good time though and got some different shots from the other end of the bleachers. Hope to get some up in the next couple of days  Smiley

Ooops... sorry.

Nice work Tom.  Afro Welcome to the forums. I'll look forward to seeing more of your work.

By the way, there is an edit (Modify) button on the top of each post you make. That way you can go back in and fix your dead links.  Wink
