I guess some trouble came up which included not having hanger space. The jets are parked in a hangar at Oceana now (and have been since 7/21).

I was more excited to see them than the T-Birds!

Disappointing to see the Starfightes will not be making an appearance this year.  This was going to be my first opportunity to see them perform. Embarrassed
However, it should still be a pretty fine show!  Smiley

Strange, no hanger space on a AFB!!, for three of the smallest fighters ever produced. There is more to this story.

Definately, ive been to this base plenty of times and know for a fact even with the thunderbirds being there, there has to be more.  Those jets have been sitting static for a very long time.  Something has to be up.

Does anyone know if the B1 is doing a demo or just a couple of flybys?

I may be wrong (and lord knows I am way too often)...but I think flybys are pretty much all the B-1 does....Ive never seen a "demo" ...granted the flybys of the B-1 are always cool....four massive burners on a massive aircraft... Afro

Heres a question I have... will the B-1 stage from Scott or just fly in from Tx?...I really want some takeoff shots of the B-1

I have found that the B1 almost always fly in from Tx for their flybys. I dont even think there is going to be one on static.

From what i heard, there is a good chance the B-1 and B-52 will be on the ground and takeoff from Scott.  *Note* i said good chance, which means it MAY not happen.
