My family and I attended the air show on Saturday.  Wow!  Talk about "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day"!  I was disappointed about not seeing the Golden Knights.  The one down side was the lack of garbage cans on the flightline.  Many pieces rolled out onto the runway.  I too had technical issues.  My telephoto lens, while not being the strongest on the planet, was malfunctioning (today I replaced it).  I was disappointed with many of my pics.  I had a great spot and many opportunities blurred.  Now I may go to Salinas to reshoot what I want.

Here are a few...

Having a bit o' fun with lens flare...

For some reason, the F-22 did not get much attention?  Roll Eyes

Nice spot on that plate, Sagar -- did you see this in the nozzle of the F-16?   Wink

99% of the reason I went to the show on Sunday and blew off working! (Thanks Bernardo for posting that pic saturday night or I wouldn't have known it was there!)

Sunday morning right after the gates opened...

Just look at that gear extension!

Someday I'll nail the legacy flight...

Just thought this was cool...

I ran down to catch the departures of most of the warbirds at Sunday's close... the guys taking down the ropes nearly ruined my gear by dumping a barrel of water pretty much on top of it while I was shooting... guess, I can't blame them for wanting to get the heck out of there and home for a cool one...

Thanks Smiley  I do have some full trash cans to dump also.  Going from film to digital is quite "interesting".  A film cannister with 1,000 shots and you can change ISO's mid-stream!

Sweet!  Now I have to get some up on my site.  I got some of the Santa Rosa shots up.  www.kbvp.com  Since I am primarily video, I shot that also on Sunday.  I still have that to get to.  Having way too much fun!
